Dane and Paula Benner took over The Lugger, situated overlooking the historic harbour in Porthleven, in December 2004. Since that time they have made great changes to bring the establishment up to date without spoiling the buildings old world charm. The local award winning Chef, Martin Brightwell, uses local produce cooked simply so as to show off the ingredients at their very best. The menu includes fresh fish from day boats, operating out of the harbour, meat from local cornish farms as well as locally produced drinks including beer, wine and soft drinks
